I'm pretty sure that sums it all up, but lets elaborate. Azealia Banks first came to my attention a couple of months ago, when I stumbled across this track on a forum. Descriptions of a raw Nicki Minaj put me off from listening, but I'm so glad I did in the end. This song is vicious, arrogant and HUGE, with an electronic production making it also a potentially monstrous club song. Thus, I was rooting for her in BBC's Sound of 2012 poll, where she placed third behind Frank Ocean and Michael Kiwanuka (my thoughts on that another time). '212' is hardly the most radio friendly song around, which I fear will prevent people from hearing this amazing track. It will be a true injustice.
