So today I was listening to a Canadian radio stations called 'Peak' instead of my usual Radio 1 - I just don't know how many more times I can hear Sean Paul and Carly Rae Jepsen before I stick my fist through the stereo.
Anyways, 'twas a rather more indie rock skew than normal, and although I had to plough through an awful lot of rubbish, there were some real treats buried in their playlists. AND I ONLY HEARD EACH SONG ONCE...

I'm not sure if I'll tune in again tomorrow (they really did play an awful lot of dross) but all in all it was a day for melody and introspective lyrics accompanying gentle guitar strums. Plus the odd Red Hot Chili Peppers' song thrown in.
