Somebody That I Used To Know
This song is inescapable on Radio 1 right now, and all I can say is, I DON'T GET IT. I've liked some of Gotye's stuff before, e.g Learnalilgivinanlovin, Heart's a Mess, but the massive success of this song really surprises me. It goes nowhere - a simplistic, plodding load of nothing. I could maybe even appreciate it purely because of the lack of bells and whistles, IF the song itself was strong enough. But I can barely remember how it goes. Baffling.
